The Dev-Team releases redsn0w 0.9.10b5c for Windows and Mac

The Dev-Team has released a new version of redsn0w for Windows and Mac This minor update is mainly improved program performance and lightened some operations.

He writes the Dev-Team on its official blog:

Updates # 5b and # 5c: fixes an issue with Version B5b using custom ramdisks on iPhone3G and iPod2G, and version two B5C Prevents redsn0w from crashing to the ever-growing ramdisk size. 
TIP: If auto-detection fails and tells you no redsn0w Identifying date was found, you can always pre-select the appropriate 5.0.1 IPSW using “Extras-> Select IPSW”.

Updates 5b and 5c: B5b version corrects a problem that occurred on the iPhone 3G and iPod 2G using the customized ramdisk, while the version that avoids B5C redsn0w may unexpectedly quit because of ever increasing size of the ramdisk. 
Tip: If the automatic recognition of the firmware fails and redsn0w, you can still manually select the firmware 5.0.1 from the “Extras-> Select IPSW” program.
